When I pick up my camera to capture a scene, I do so because I see something that, to me, is wonderful and beautiful. I want others to see that scene and experience the emotions that I experienced at that moment. Many of these scenes happen naturally, others, I create, but my goal is still the same: to show others what I see.

In the moment of taking the picture, the state of consciousness I intend to evoke is already decided. A person looks at my work, they should see something that is elegant, simple and thoughtful. Something that is favorable to the eyes and favorable to the emotions. The subject may vary, but the intention is always the same.

My current work involves three subjects: sunsets, flowers and my wife. These, I find to be beautiful and elegant. I have done my best to keep the work simple and thoughtful. I am certain you will find these images to be favorable.
